What a delightful little spot to gather with friends for apps & cocktails! In DC for the night and met some besties in their neck of the woods - Capitol Hill... easy access from metro. Welcoming atmosphere and fun history of the joint shared by the hostess. Love old speakeasy’s! Nice menu; lots of tasty options to share and a fun, creative cocktail menu. Great service & decent prices for this area. A neighborhood gem!

Love this place! It’s truly the quintessential neighborhood bar—with the incredible bonus of an upscale, chef-driven menu. Chef Cary and his team consistently deliver dishes that go beyond expectations. Some of my personal favorites? The oysters (always fresh), the melt-in-your-mouth short ribs, and the perfectly crispy fried green tomatoes. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff—from the attentive servers to the friendly, knowledgeable bartenders—make every visit a great experience. If you're into craft cocktails, don’t miss the Saloon Sour, the Gold Rush, or the refreshing Southeast Side. This spot has definitely become a go-to for me. Highly recommend!

Very nice location for lunch or breakfast. Our server was very friendly and took care. The food selection is classic but the food itself is very delicious and cooked very well. Nothing to complain and highly recommended if you are in the area. Lots of people where having brunch. Looked also very delicious.

I absolutely love this place. We've gone many times since 2018, and a lot of Easters, this is where we eat. I think We've done 4 or 5, including today. They always sit us at the table we request, they are always EXTREMELY nice and warming. We wear the same outfit each year and it's become a tradition. They always let me be weird and order 'a bowl of the stuff that goes under the deviled eggs'. It's delicious, as is everything every single time.

Fantastic brunch spot! If it’s good weather you can sit out on the back patio which is super quiet and pleasant, or there’s a decent amount of indoor seating. We looooved the shrimp and grits and the Dutch Baby (skillet pancake with ham and poached eggs on top!) and the biscuits. Great service too, and a really cool vibe that doesn’t feel touristy or cheesy.

i went with two friends and we all loved the brunch experience! the food is reasonably priced and our server was very friendly and great. the restaurant itself is beautiful. i got the lemon ricotta pancakes, the grapefruit mimosa, and we shared the cinnamon rolls. i recommend all of them.

LOVE this Capitol Hill gem. We came for dinner and sat at the bar for hours. Delicious cocktails and food, the Parker house rolls are a must and I’m still thinking about the pork ragu. Excellent music, too. Can’t wait to come back.

Old western themed saloon with modern pop music. Food looked amazing, and the drinks were good. Would definitely come back. 9/10
